IQON TR20 Pablo Soler Carbon Inline Skate Boot
The IQON TR20 Pablo Soler is a high-performance carbon inline skate boot developed around the exact requirements of Spanish skater Pablo Soler. After more than three years of testing and seven prototypes, this is the boot that evolved from the setup used by Pablo for his podium finish at the 2024 WSG Downhill World Championship.
Designed for demanding urban skating, downhill, freeride, freestyle and technical skating, the TR20 combines a full carbon shell with an exceptionally tall carbon cuff to deliver outstanding lateral support, precise control and efficient power transfer.
FULL CARBON CONSTRUCTION
The shell is hand-lasted carbon fibre with Kevlar reinforcement, providing a highly rigid and responsive platform while keeping the boot remarkably precise under load. The carbon shell is also heat-moldable using selected Thermoparts, allowing experienced skaters to fine-tune the fit around specific pressure points.
The 100% carbon compression-molded cuff is one of the TR20's defining features. Its exceptional height provides almost ski-boot-like lateral support while maintaining controlled forward flex. The cuff can also be customized in height, allowing the skater to modify flex and lateral inclination according to their technique and setup.
This makes the TR20 particularly interesting for large-wheel setups, long frames and high-speed downhill skating.
MYFIT PRIME LINER — SUPPORT WITH CUSTOM FIT
The removable MYFIT Prime liner gives the TR20 an important advantage over boots with integrated liners: direct access to the carbon shell.
The liner incorporates lace loops directly into the tongue to prevent unwanted movement and improve foot lockdown. It is also heat-moldable at 80°C, allowing the fit to be adapted to the skater's foot.
Because the liner is removable, pressure points can be fine-tuned by modifying the shell or adding padding. The toe box offers a medium-high volume, with additional adjustment possible using a thicker insole or the included MYFIT EVA foam pad.
SECURE CLOSURE SYSTEM
The TR20 uses a combination of closures designed to lock the foot firmly into the boot:
- Wide V-Power strap around the cuff.
- Extra-wide Velcro cuff closure for maximum contact with the liner tongue.
- Micro-adjustable Crown ratchet buckle at 45°.
- Standard laces across the instep.
- Extra longer strap included for additional customization.
- Additional waxed laces included.
The wide cuff closure eliminates protruding side buckles while maximizing contact and support. A traditional buckle can also be fitted if preferred.
ENGINEERED FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE SKATING
Pablo Soler has selected every major component of the TR20 around a very specific skating philosophy: maximum support, precision and control without sacrificing usable flex.
The carbon construction provides exceptional stiffness at the rear while the front of the boot maintains medium stiffness, creating a controlled balance between lateral support and forward movement.
The shell also incorporates a specially designed ankle and bunion cut-out inspired by the construction of the IQON TAU, reducing pressure in sensitive areas during long skating sessions.
Reflective and holographic details improve visibility when skating at night, while the included side protector helps protect the carbon boot against everyday impacts and abrasion.
