GOAT - HARE COMPLETE BUTTBOARD

Goat has developed this buttboard together with Mikel Echegaray, no one better than him to design this board with impossible curves, very fast and with a shape that fixes your body to the board in a comfortable and aerodynamic position. With machined recesses on the bottom and extra guides for your hands to grip the board firmly when making the most extreme turns and braking.

The Hare buttboard is built with a core of two bamboo and fibreglass sheets with reinforcements to prevent twisting.

This time, we have mounted a buttboard (with some extra details ;) )so that you do not have headaches when you have your first set up, and you can start to enjoy from the first moment, whether you are a beginner or if you already know the world of downhill and you know what you come to.We have mounted some Randal II axles in 180mm. width with 50º bases. On both bases we have returned the kingpin and sealed with bicomponent to give more stiffness and eliminate play. Also the standard bushings will be replaced by RipTide bushings in the recommended hardness according to the weight of the rider. We will also replace the bushing washers with precision ones. The front axle will be mounted on a 7º wedge, which added to the 3º that gives us the wheel and the 50º of the axle, we will have 60º at the front. At the rear we will have the axle mounted on the top of the board with 50º.

For wheels we will have Venom Cannibal Mach-1 Compound in 76mm, and 74A. A fast and durable compound wheel. Offset construction, so we can turn them upside down and play around reducing the width. 

With the Zealous bearings of Builtinn construction we will forget about washers and spacers, we will roll fast for a long time thanks to its long lasting grease, without a doubt a very good option to finish off a complete buttboard with very good performance. 

A front end that adapts to your body

The front of the Hare is designed so that your legs are perfectly positioned and locked into the shape giving you a very aerodynamic and safe position. When you are lying on it at high speed you will feel your body totally attached to the buttboard and at the same time it will be very easy to move them off the longitudinal axis of the board for turns and braking.

Angled axle positioning area

The front axle positioning area has a slight angulation, which allows the axle to rotate more when turning. The Hare is designed and engineered to be mounted with all types of axles on the market, from the simplest cast to the most professional machined aluminium axles.

Leather bindings

The top of the Hare comes standard with high quality leather bindings so that your body is perfectly gripped to the shape giving you a comfortable and secure position and preventing unwanted slippage. The leather shapes are inspired by the lower graphic made by Ishtar Bäcklund.

Ready for the most extreme slopes

The Hare is mounted and ready to glide at high speeds on the most extreme slopes. You can mount your Hare with any axle model on the market as both its angled front and rear drop are designed to accommodate all types of axles available on the market.
