Seismic DELTA G-LOC 78.5mm – Downhill Racing & Streetluge Wheels
The Seismic DELTA G-LOC wheels are high-performance racing wheels developed for riders demanding maximum traction, speed and control at high velocity. Their combination of racing-specific geometry, G-LOC™ urethane and the revolutionary FUSION™ hub places them firmly in the category of wheels designed for the most demanding downhill runs.
With a 78.5 mm diameter, 68 mm width and 67.5 mm running surface, the DELTA is engineered to provide exceptional traction without sacrificing rolling speed or responsiveness.
The G-LOC™ compound combines outstanding grip, braking power, rolling speed and energy return, while the FUSION hub is designed to optimize the transfer of energy through the urethane, delivering rapid acceleration and an exceptionally lively response through pumps, carves and high-load corners.
At RollerStore, we sell them in pairs of 2 wheels, making them suitable for both a conventional 4-wheel longboard setup and a 6-wheel streetluge setup.
G-LOC™ – Race Urethane Engineered for Performance
The G-LOC™ compound is one of the defining features of the DELTA. It was developed specifically to deliver an extreme combination of traction and rolling speed.
Its performance characteristics include:
- Exceptional cornering grip
- Powerful braking
- Excellent energy return
- Rapid acceleration
- Directional sliding
- Predictable slide release
- Reliable hookup
- Slow, consistent wear
- Outstanding durability
G-LOC is available in two finely tuned durometers, allowing riders to adapt the wheel to their weight, road surface and preferred handling characteristics.
73.5A Yellow – Maximum Grip & Braking
The 73.5A Yellow version is designed for riders who prioritize maximum traction and an extremely responsive feel.
Its characteristics include:
Extreme grip + fast rolling + powerful braking + progressive response.
Particularly suited to:
- Riders who prioritize maximum traction
- Fast and technical courses
- Lower-grip road surfaces
- High-load corners
- Downhill runs where braking performance is critical
Its more aggressive slide characteristics provide exceptional braking power while maintaining predictable control.
75.5A Green – Speed & Predictable Handling
The 75.5A Green version is designed for smoother surfaces and lighter riders who can benefit from a slightly harder compound.
It provides:
- Extremely fast rolling
- Excellent grip
- More progressive slide characteristics
- Excellent durability
- Predictable handling
An excellent choice when the priority is a balance between top speed, grip and controllability.
FUSION™ Hub – Race-Level Engineering
The FUSION™ core is one of the key technologies behind the DELTA.
Measuring 46 mm tall x 44 mm wide, Seismic has developed one of the largest and most supportive hubs used in a wheel of this diameter.
It is manufactured from 75D fiber-reinforced Impulse Blend™, a proprietary material designed to provide high stiffness and exceptional energy return.
Its construction incorporates eight contoured crossbeams and a deep saddle-shaped structure, providing outstanding edge support and creating a strong three-dimensional mechanical lock between the hub and urethane.
More Energy Return. More Acceleration.
The FUSION design isn't simply about increasing stiffness.
Its internal crossbeams act like internal turbines, capturing and redirecting the rebound energy generated by the G-LOC urethane through the hub.
This produces an especially responsive feel during:
- Acceleration
- Pumping
- Carving
- Edge transitions
- High-load cornering
The rigid saddle walls also help store and return lateral deformation energy from the urethane, increasing rebound when exiting corners and powerful pumps.
DELTA Geometry – Designed Around Racing
Every major dimension of the DELTA has been engineered around the demands of downhill racing.
78.5 mm Diameter
A carefully selected diameter offering an excellent balance of speed, acceleration and momentum retention.
68 mm Width
The generous width provides a substantial contact area, contributing to stability during hard cornering and braking.
67.5 mm Running Surface
The effective running surface is precisely designed to balance grip, rolling speed and slide characteristics.
6.5% Bearing Seat Offset
The bearing seat is offset by 6.5%, forming part of the wheel's race-specific geometry.
Optimized Profile for High-Speed Performance
The DELTA features a square outside edge combined with a straight-cut inside edge, creating a precise and stable riding characteristic.
The running surface also incorporates a subtle 0.5 mm concavity, which preloads the urethane edges.
This helps:
- Increase rebound
- Improve response under load
- Enhance slide feedback
- Maintain precise handling during hard cornering
Longboard Downhill & Streetluge
Although the Seismic DELTA G-LOC was developed primarily as a longboard downhill racing wheel, its characteristics also make it an exceptional choice for streetluge, where grip, stability and speed are critical.
At RollerStore, we sell them in pairs of 2 wheels, making it easy to build:
4 wheels → Longboard Downhill
6 wheels → Streetluge
You can therefore purchase exactly the number of wheels required for your setup.
